Single or Double Sided
The Datacard SP75 Plus can print on both sides of the card. It is one of the few Datacard ID card printers that have that capability. This gives you the option to add more information on the ID card or make it more diverse.
Status Update
Get the status of your print job on the built in backlit LCD. This LCD is located on the front near the input hopper, and displays the current status or errors, if any. This will keep you updated on your print job and print ribbon status.
Networking Capability
The Datacard SP75 Plus gives you the flexibility to print from a network or from a USB. If you’ve saved the data in a USB, you can just connect it to the printer and print. If you want to print from a network printer, just connect the Ethernet cable, and send the print to the printer.
Secure Supplies
Your supplies and accessories are secured by a key lock. The lock is attached to a panel that secures the ribbon cartridge, the pvc cards, and the laminators. You also have the option of adding a Kensington lock that will secure the printer to the workstation.
Ultraviolet Security
You can make your ID cards more secure with an ultraviolet fluorescent. This fluorescent is added on to the surface of the card, and can be checked under ultraviolet light. This reduces the chance of anyone counterfeiting your ID cards.
Optional Features
There are many optional features you can add to the Datacard SP75 Plus. If the input hopper is empty, there is an option you can add to notify you whenever it is empty. You can add a second lamination station that will make your cards more secure and reduce your cost.
